We’re super excited to roll out the Beta Flow Editor, a big update that makes building and managing your flows faster, smoother, and just… better. Especially if you’re working on large, complex flows — this one’s for you!
Creating new nodes is now simpler. Just right-click anywhere on the canvas to create a new node. You can still drag to create nodes if that’s your preferred workflow.

Another useful feature is that you can now select parts of your flow to quickly delete or copy them — making it easier to reorganize and reuse sections of your workflow.
Highlight the nodes you want to remove until they turn blue, then press Delete. A confirmation message will appear before anything is removed. If you delete something by accident, you can always restore it from your revision history.
To make a copy of a single node, simply hold Shift and drag the node to the canvas. To copy multiple nodes, highlight the nodes you want to duplicate until they turn blue. Then hold Shift and drag the selection onto the editor to create a copy.

This has been one of our most requested features, and we hope it makes flow building faster and more flexible for our users!
Another big change? We’ve made moving things around much easier:
Ipad users will also be presently surprised by how much easier it is to build flows on their touch screen. Basically, our users now have more control over their flows, and as an added bonus, it's actually really fun to use!
Keeping track of large flows just got a lot easier:
• Zoom in and out with handy shortcuts.
• Use zoom-to-fit to see your whole flow at once. You can even make edits while zoomed out.
• Use full zoom to quickly return to 100% view.

Refine a messy, complicated flow into a neat, organized layout with one click.
Just:
If you don’t like how your flow was reorganized, you can easily revert it by quickly clicking 'Discard' or by reverting to your previous flow using the revision history.

No more guessing with incomplete expressions or mismatched syntax!

If you enter an expression with uneven parentheses or other errors, TextIt will immediately show a red alert— you’ll be guided to see what needs fixing. This is especially helpful for conditional logic in flows, calculations in variables or responses, and webhook payloads, ensuring your flows run correctly the first time.
Plus, any syntax or variables you use in your flows now stand out in a distinct color, making them easy to spot at a glance and helping your logic stay clear and organized!

📱 Don’t forget to check out our New Flow Simulator !
It features a much sleeker design and several advanced capabilities, including the ability to send video, audio, and location messages while testing. One of the biggest enhancements is the option to have the simulator automatically follow you through your flow, displaying each node and action as they are triggered during testing. Click on the 'Following' icon to turn on this feature.
You can also now resize the phone simulator (click on 's' icon), giving you a clearer and more flexible view while you test. Additionally you can and drag and drop the simulator to position it anywhere on the editor.

🟨 Sticky notes are now created with a simple right-click — no more double-clicking needed! Sticky notes have also had a facelift and can now be resized and positioned, giving them a sleeker look that stays out of your way while you work.

There are several smaller behind-the-scenes improvements that make everyday work smoother, but the changes above have the biggest impact.
We highly recommend opting in to the Beta Flow Editor and exploring it for yourself — it’s worth it.
• If you’re still using the old editor, you’ll see a banner linking to the beta editor (it auto-hides after 7 seconds).
• Until the Beta editor officially launches, you can switch between the old and beta editors anytime via the flow editor menu.

This is just the beginning. We’ve got even more updates coming soon.
We can’t wait to see what you build with the Beta Flow Editor!
Dive in, explore, and see just how smooth your flows can be!
